estates dental appointment policy

being on time, confirmations & broken appointments

At Estates Dental, our goal is simple: provide excellent care with the time and individual attention every patient deserves. This allows our team to stay on time and focus fully on you, because we reserve a dedicated block of time just for you, we kindly ask for your help in keeping our schedule running smoothly.

scheduling multiple family members

We will be happy to schedule family appointments for your convenience. In the event that you do not show to your appointments or give us 48 hours notice, we will no longer be able to schedule multiple family members.

please arrive on time

We ask that you arrive on time for your reserved appointment. Your appointment time is set aside specifically to complete your care properly and comfortably.

Arriving late can:

  • reduce the time available for your treatment

  • delay other patients who reserved time that day

  • impact our ability to provide the quality care you deserve

  •

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be considered a broken appointment (see below) and may need to be rescheduled.

appointment confirmations

Our office may reach out to confirm your appointment by text, email, and/or phone. Please confirm your appointment at least 48 business hours in advance.

Example: If your appointment is on a Monday, please confirm by Thursday.

Office Hours: Tuesday - Thursday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Please note: even if we are unable to reach you, your scheduled appointment time remains your responsibility and your appointment card/message serves as confirmation.

rescheduling & cancellations

If you need to change your appointment time, we request at least 48 business hours’ notice. This allows us time to offer the appointment to another patient who is waiting for care. Changes made with less than 48 business hours’ notice will be subject to a $50 broken appointment fee.

what counts as a broken appointment

An appointment is considered “broken” if:

  • you do not show up for your scheduled appointment

  • you arrive more than 15 minutes late

  • you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 business hours’ notice

repeated broken appointments

If there are more than two broken appointments, applicable fees may be required in order to reserve future appointments. Repeated broken appointments may result in the refusal of further appointment scheduling.

Thank you for understanding and helping us provide prompt, attentive care for every patient.

If you have questions about this policy, our team is happy to help.
